Franchise Training Program
The Gourmet Delight Training program is undertaken by all prospective franchisee prior to operating a Bakery. The franchise training is targeted at prospective franchisees that have the capital to purchase a bakery. This training is also the second module of the Gourmet Delight Franchisee program for senior bakery staff that have successfully completed the future delight and Gourmet Delight franchise recruitment process Franchise Training Program The 8 - 12 week competency based training provided prospective franchisees with the skill to potentially operate their own business.
Recruits receive extensive in-house practical , written training from baking ,production management, marketing , purchasing and inventory to accounting and management practices. The Franchisees staff much taken examination after finished the practical baking every week until we surely franchisee can run their own business.

Point of sale
Gourmet Delight’s automated ‘point of sale ‘(POS) system, allows franchisees to improve cash control and provide management reports to assist in the efficient running of a bakery. Generated reports assist with issues such as fresh baking, assessing and managing employee performance, wastage and stock control, in addition to reports required by the franchisor. The POS system also allows for employee incentive programs and monitoring of marketing activities.

2. Application

3. First meeting
Upon review of your application you may be invited to meet with a member of the franchise recruitment team. The first meeting is an introductory meeting designed to inform candidates of the process involved in purchasing a franchise .It is also an opportunity for you to find out more about us and ask us any questions you may have. You will then be issued with a ‘franchisee visit record form’ to be completed once you have spoken to at least three franchisees about their experience with Gourmet Delight. We will also issue you with an online self assessment to complete.
4. Two Day Orientation
Upon successful completion of the above .you will be invited to one of our bakeries for a two day orientation . This is designed to give you an insight into the unique day to day operations of a Gourmet Delight bakery.
5. Selection Interview
Following the two day orientation, a behavioural selection interview will be conducted. This profile attempts to identify your traits and competencies, matching them to the suitability of running a Gourmet Delight franchise. We may also arrange for you to undertake an external psychometric assessment.
6. Final Review
Successful candidates will be invited back to meet with the regional manager. In this stage we will conduct reference checks, and ask to provide us with a completed police record check.
7. Approval to Commence Training
Following successful completion of Gourmet Delight’s recruitment process, you will be appoved to commence our 8-12 week competency based Gourmet Delight Franchisee Training Program. At this stage of the process Gourmet Delight can release to you the Bakeries for Sale List.
